I'm mostly hunkered down waiting for the ice storm, sick with a cold. I spent the day trying to figure out where the main water valve shutoff is in my crawlspace, in case the pipes burst. Also hauled wood into the garage in case I need 3-4 days of fires. I'm planning for 4 days indoors, with likely loss of electricity. Right now, I'm grateful because I found the valve and, hey, at least I have a fireplace. I hope NYC doesn't get the amount of snow they are predicting. Get that beer!
